“Let us never consider ourselves finished nurses… We must be learning all of our lives.” – Florence Nightingale
The CNA Pinning Ceremony at WEPA Tec Centro Lebanon was a deeply emotional and meaningful celebration. It marked the end of a challenging journey for a group of students who came together as a true team, even while navigating three different languages—English, Spanish, and Haitian Creole—in the Integrated-English-Training version of the CNA course. Their perseverance, unity, and commitment reflected the spirit of Florence Nightingale, whose legacy of compassion and lifelong learning continues to guide new caregivers entering the field.
The ceremony was a proud moment for both the students and their instructor, who supported them through every step. We are excited to send these new CNAs into the world, confident that they will bring empathy, skill, and dedication to the communities they serve. We are grateful for the time they spent with us, and we look forward to hearing all about their future successes as they continue their journey in healthcare.
