January 12, Lebanon, PA: This week is packed with opportunities for learning and community engagement. Our ESL classes are running at multiple levels, including Level 1 as well as Levels 2 and 3. We’re continuing with the Medical Assistant program, Certified Nurse Aide training, and the CNA pre-course offered through a local community college (HACC). For those interested in advancing their education, we have HiSET and general course information sessions scheduled, along with an evening information session on January 13 and 14 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM at 9 South 9th Street in Lebanon.

Our phlebotomy class is in progress, and we need your help. TEC Centro Lebanon and WEPA Empowerment Center are seeking volunteers aged 18 and older to assist our phlebotomy students as they practice their skills. Your participation makes a real difference in their education and future careers. If you’re available on January 13 or 14 between 6:30 PM and 7:30 PM, please contact us at 717-708-3030.
Looking ahead to January 15, Lebanon Family Health Services will host a pop-up clinic at the WEPA Empowerment Center, offering free STI testing from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. This is an important opportunity to take care of your health and the health of those you care about. Testing is free, and participants will receive a $20 gift card as a thank-you. Please note that appointments are limited to one per client, and repeat testing is not allowed within 90 days. To register, call 717-273-6741 or visit lebanonfamilyhealth.org.
