Kay Litman, executive director of Tec Centro Lebanon, said Friday’s graduation feels like a milestone and is something that should be celebrated. The Tec Centro Empowerment Center on South 9th Street officially opened their doors in August 2023.
“Some days it feels like it’s been a long time coming, and other days it’s like, we’ve blinked and we’re here,” she said. “We’re on the heels of a group of phlebotomists that will be graduating at the end of April, and a group of medical assisting students who have been with us since September who also will be finishing in May.”
